The Tormek CW-220 Composite Honing Wheel is the modern alternative to the traditional leather honing wheel. It is used to hone and polish the edge of knives, chisels or plane irons after sharpening – bringing them from sharp to razor-sharp. Thanks to the maintenance-free composite material, there is no need for honing compound or lubrication. The polishing agent is integrated directly into the material of the wheel. Even as the wheel wears over time, the polishing effect remains fully effective.
