One bar, countless tools!
This universal tool holder is a 50(!) cm long, 16 mm diameter stainless-steel bar. This allows it to fit into most interchangeable handles.
The socket at one end of the bar measures 7 mm, making it suitable for Oneway and CARP ring tools. The socket at the other end measures 8 mm and is designed to hold tools such as Wiedemann hollowing hooks and the Woodcut Pro-Forme. The tool is secured with a hex socket screw.
No rust
The bar is made from stainless steel, so turning oak or wet wood will no longer cause rust to form on the tool bar. Stainless steel is also more rigid and less prone to vibration than bars made from ordinary steel.
Handle
You can turn your own handle for this bar and fit it with a quick-release collet head, or choose one of the ready-made handles from brands such as Sorby or Oneway. Alternatively, use one of our ferrules to make your own handle.
The opening in the Woodcut Pro-Master interchangeable handle measures 15.9 mm. It is therefore just slightly too small, unless you enlarge the opening a little.
