Cyclone
This cyclone is designed for efficient pre-separation of dust and chips and is a smart upgrade for almost any vacuum cleaner or dust extraction system. By using centrifugal force, dust particles and wood shavings are removed from the airflow before they reach the vacuum cleaner.
Installation
The cyclone is made from injection-moulded plastic with antistatic properties. This helps prevent the build-up of fine dust on the inside. Both the inlet and outlet have a diameter of 50 mm, making the cyclone easy to combine with many common extraction hoses and accessories.
Long service life
In practice, 98 to 99 percent of dust and debris is separated and directed straight into the collection container. This significantly reduces the load on the vacuum cleaner’s filters and motor. The result is less pressure loss, fewer blockages and a considerably longer service life for both the filters and the vacuum cleaner.
Adding this cyclone causes only a minimal reduction in suction power. In return, the filters remain clean much longer, allowing strong suction to be maintained for a far longer period. This makes the cyclone particularly suitable for prolonged and intensive use in workshop and hobby environments.
Do-it-yourself
This version is intended as a do-it-yourself solution. The user provides a sturdy, round collection container with a lid. The size of the container is not critical, as long as it is completely airtight and structurally strong. If the container is too thin or flexible, there is a risk that it may deform under vacuum pressure.
Delivery
The delivery consists solely of the cyclone, including mounting hardware. Hoses and collection container are not included in this set.
